Job opening: Part-Time Marketing Associate (Food Technology Background)

We are a leading Hyderbad's food consultancy company, specializing in food industry research and technical advisory services. 


We're on the lookout for a proactive and creative individual to join our team as a Part-Time Marketing Associate with a food technology background and marketing experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer & Lead Management: Contact IndiaMART customers, manage buy leads, and foster strong relationships with clients and partners via email/WhatsApp.
  • Client Coordination: Schedule virtual meetings, document detailed MOM, and ensure smooth project initiation.
  • Marketing Content Creation: Design brochures, presentations, and post engaging content on platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.
  • Website & Catalogue Management: Update the company website and IndiaMART catalog with accurate details and visuals.
  • Exhibition & Event Representation: Represent the company at industry exhibitions, interact with attendees, and generate leads.
  • Relationship Management: Build lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders through consistent communication and follow-ups.


Eligibility:

  • Educational Background: Graduates in Food Technology or related fields.
  • Experience: Proven marketing experience (preferably in the food industry or consultancy).
  • Skills: Strong communication, marketing tools proficiency (Canva, PowerPoint), digital marketing knowledge, website & catalog management experience.


Requirements:

  • Own a laptop and ability to work remotely.
  • Salary: ₹10,000 to ₹12,000 per month + incentives (after 3 months based on target performance).
  • Hours: Part-time (15-20 hours per week).
  • Location: Remote, with occasional in-person participation for exhibitions and events.

Role : Food technologist

Job Description 

Location A: Manufacturing Facility: 


Production Oversight:

Monitor daily production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Implement and optimise production methods for efficiency and safety.

Coordinate with production teams to troubleshoot any issues.

Leadership skills to manage workers/people on the production site.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular quality control tests on raw materials and finished products.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.

Document and analyse quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.


Collaboration with R&D:

Aid in developing new recipes and formulations based on market trends.

Conduct trials of new products, providing feedback on flavour, texture, and shelf life.

Support the transition of products from development to production scale.


Training and Development:

Train production staff on new processes and quality standards.

Develop training materials and protocols for best practices in food handling and production.


Location B: Research and Development Lab: 


Product Development:

Collaborate with R&D teams to create innovative food products.

Conduct experiments to evaluate new ingredients, formulations, and processing techniques.

Analyse sensory data and consumer feedback to refine products.


Technical Documentation:

Prepare and maintain documentation for product formulations, processes, and testing protocols.

Develop product specifications and labelling information.


Market Research:

Stay updated on food industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products.

Conduct market analyses to identify opportunities for new product development.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on product launches.

Participate in cross-departmental meetings to communicate R&D progress and production capabilities.


Common Responsibilities in Both Locations


Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products meet local and international food safety regulations.

Problem Solving: Address production challenges or product issues collaboratively with relevant teams.

Sustainability Initiatives: Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve sustainability in production and product development.


Qualification : 

Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field is essential.

Skills and Knowledge


Technical Skills:

Understanding of food processing, preservation, and packaging techniques.


Analytical Skills:

Ability to conduct experiments, analyse data, and interpret results.

Knowledge of Regulations:

Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations (e.g., FDA, FSSAI, or local regulations).


IT skills: 

Computer skills: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Word.


Experience

Internships: Hands-on experience in food production or R&D during studies can provide a competitive edge.


Salary: Rs 18000 to 22000 per month.
